Music Browser
Well, I’ve completed phase one of my music browser. It’s just a simple web-based interface for browsing my music collection. Entirely AJAX-driven, too. It’s sleek and simple. I might add a playlist generator to it as well. But, that’s if I get bored tomorrow night.
The app can be adapted to any directory structure or file type. It only takes one line of code to change what extension to look for (if any at all). I have it adapted to show the top level of directories in categories (numbers, then A-Z) and then browse from there. It’d be pretty easy to remove that bar and just go straight into browsing mode. Maybe I’ll try and adapt it to other stuff on Overkill. Hrmm..
