So, as it turns out, the reason my Intel Shuttle is overheating is because the main exhaust fan is dead. So, the thing is running with the case open and just some heat pipes connected to a radiator keeping it cool. Who woulda thought that a 3GHz Intel proc could run on passive cooling?!
