I'm looking into getting some Mojos. Im a girl with a German Shepard and I currently own an oversized pair of mens rollerblades I bought from Goodwill over a year ago. I love to rollerblade. I'm not one to speed skate but I like a breeze if ya know what I mean. I already know it will be easy for me to learn to use these because I'm not totaly acustomed and used to the crappy blades I have now. I'm 120 pounds and 5 foot tall. I hear you say they are heavy. I can't have something hindering me and quickly making me tired only because of the weight of the blades. Ill be using them for excercise and dog walking. It this the skate for me? I like the fact that they go over rough surfaces smoothly because I will be riding on the streets and trails. But is it worth it? Anyone have any suggestions on other affordable blades I could look into for what I'm using them for??

I agree. This guy named Will McKinley helped with the size exchange and it was a terrible process and it took SO long to get the skates back. Right now, my left wheel bearings rattles a lot. Overall it's been fun to just skate around with my dog and I don't go that fast but their service isn't really good and I feel that they can get away with it because they have such a unique product.

Tried the LandRoller MOJO and found them to be a little slow in the beginning, and then I realized that the problem was me. I was expecting them to be just another inline skate. They are a different design, as different as a quad skate. There was a transition period, but my speed is back where it should be, single foot control is good and comfort is good as well. Gotta try something for more than a few moments to get an educated feel. When I moved from quads, (speed skating), to inlines, it took longer to get used to them. You get out what you put in. Lots of bashing on the internet.

I am looking for some skates that will help me get fit again after several pregnancies and surgeries. I like the fact that the MOJOs seem to go a little slower and will go over pretty much anything. I had a few bad spills going over some rocks with previous old-fashioned models.... any advice?

I just tried out my new Landroller Mojos today. Ugh, ugh, ugh! These are FASTER bearings? It is SO NOT fun skating on these. Yes, it's true they go over just about anything-- I went over the tram tracks no problem. But they are SO slow and SO much work!
I think they'd be good skates if you're a big buff guy looking for a harder workout, or if you're Cesar Milan and have a big dog pulling you-- but if you skate because you love that gliding feeling of freedom, forget it. Unless I can figure out how to change the bearings, these were an expensive mistake. And I really wanted to like them...

Hi I just read your review of the landrollers and was wondering if you have ever tried the Quadline skates. I have seen countless vid's for the quads and even the skorpian strap on's but have really can't get a good review from someone who has tried these and the land rollers . Was wondering if you have or know of a great skate online blog where I might pose the question. Thanks for any info

Update on the new Landroller, the Mojo. Lighter, different bearings, better wheels. The big mistake everyone makes is that they buy them and figure, "these are a new inline skate." They aren't, they are a completely different design. When I first put them on, they felt weird and a little slow. All of my skills, muscle build up, and even calluses were for a different skate. After a week, my speed was back, my control is great, and these are SO much easier on my bad knee. (more than a decade of roller hockey will do that.)
All in all, serious improvements over the first model.
Too much negativity on the internet. It wasn't a product that works for everyone, boo hoo. Get over it.

Thanks, I was considering buying these, but now I will wait and try a pair first. Maybe there will be a model with really fast bearigs, those big wheels should haul ass, they look to me like a great distance skate, maybe even a good city skate, I wonder how durable they are, and how well they do on long flights of stairs, or skating backwards.
