How to bug a house fly

So, I’m sitting here in front of my computer late at night with only the glow of the monitor illuminating the room. Light obviously attracts insects. A house fly landed on my monitor and started bugging me. I discovered that if I moved my mouse cursor close to the fly, it’d run away from the cursor. After chasing it halfway across my monitor (zig-zagging to try and get away), it finally flew off. Just thought that was pretty funny.
