Car Returned!
Or, well, we found it. It looks like the emergency brake didn’t hold it and it rolled about 100 yards into the woods below Amy’s house. It was only visible in just the right spot at just the right time. The noon sun had to be shining down on it for the light to catch it through a clearing in the tree canopy. Amy spotted something gleaming red in the woods and we knew right away what it was.
After a couple of hours, a tow truck was able to winch it out and pull it up the driveway while I get to work it all out with insurance. That’s the brief summary. I’m tired of telling the story.
